In this tutorial, we are looking at the module section of the settings area. This area, again, is open only to admins of the system. So if you are not an admin, you will not be able to access this. To access the modules area. Once again, go to the settings tab, click on the modules sub-tab, and you’ll be on that page. Alright, so first things first. Most modules would automatically be activated, but you certainly can deactivate them, simply toggle the option off and you’ll be able to deactivate those modules. Note that if you do deactivate a module, it basically means that that module will no longer be available. And of course you can go ahead and activate it. Simply go to your settings tab, go to the modules area and click to reactivate. For this tutorial, we want to focus our attention on the modules that do have the gear icon. That gear icon indicates that that module has additional sub settings. So let’s take a look at, for example, the reviews module. So click on the reviews module, settings right over there we see the first section here indicating that this module is active. Good. And then we see a second, which is the e-signature required. Now, this is important because it means that you can set up a global requirement for your reviews to have the e-signature option enabled, right? So if you toggle that on, it means the reviews that you create will have that option. If you don’t toggle that on, no worries, you will still be able to include e-signatures in specific reviews. So let’s go to the second section of the reviews module, and it is going to be right over here where it says automated reviews. Now over there we have two sections. We have individual anniversary reviews. These are automated reviews that happen once a year on the hire date of the individual. And then we have onboarding reviews. This is where you have a new hire coming in and you want to be able to perform an onboarding review. So let’s take a look at, first off, the individual anniversary reviews. And if you notice this option here, it means that you can be able to turn this off if you don’t want that to be in place. Alright, so what do we have here? We have a couple of sections. We have the review period. So of course you can stipulate what that is here. Then you have the review templates. This is important because what you’re telling the eLeaP system is that, Hey, for my individual and anniversary reviews, I want to use this particular template for my peer reviews. And you can certainly, if you go to select the template, you can also preview the template. This is how the template looks like. You’ll be able to see the questions and the responses. Note that some of the responses, if they’re too long, you can just put your cursor over here and you’ll see the total or long version. So anyways, selecting the template for the particular types of individual reviews and anniversary reviews makes sense. And if you need help creating those templates, let us know. So of course you’ve got your peer review types, your upward review. So this is where subordinates are reviewing a manager and downward review. Vice versa, managers are reviewing subordinates. And then of course, self-assessments. What this basically is telling you is you are able to customize all of these options here. Then of course we notice that you have an e-signature option if you toggle it on. What that means is that for those individual anniversary reviews, we will require the signature for submission. Alright, now you come over to the review answers visibility area. And this is important because it lets you dictate how the system should handle data after the reviews are collected. Alright, do you want to share answers with reviewee and include a reviewer? Do you want to share answers with reviewee anonymously or do you want to not share? Okay, so again, you can select the option that makes the most sense for your organization. Alright, now we go over to the onboarding reviews. And similarly we see an option to start the review period. And by the way, it utilizes the configuration or the setting that you have for the employee in the teams and people section. So you can stipulate for example, that user A has a three month onboarding period. We call that probationary period, or a one month probationary period. You get to dictate what that is, okay? And based on that information, the system will trigger when that onboarding review gets launched. Alright? And again, templates are important. So we can stipulate that you get to include a self-assessment template, the peer review template, upward review, downward review, self-assessment, the e-signature. Again, if you want to have that enabled for the onboarding review, feel free to do that. And last but not least, of course, how do you want to disseminate data right after the review is collected? Alright? And simply hit save. And that takes care of your ability to customize your reviews. Let’s go to another section. This is the survey section. Survey section. Of course, you activate the module very, very easy. And then you’ve got the eNPS activation. So of course for those that don’t know about the eNPS, it is the employee net promoter score. We do have a separate video about that. So feel free to check that out. And again, you get to customize the cadence of it and of course the template that you want to utilize. Alright, and then check-ins. In the check-in settings area, you are able to of course, activate the module, include the calendar services that you use, whether it is Google Calendar or Outlook calendar. So the system is able to incorporate that into the notifications for those individuals setting up check-ins.
