In this tutorial, we are looking at the check-ins feature. It can also be utilized for one-on-ones. It is a very flexible feature. Typically one-on-ones are longer, more structured. Used to discuss career goals, performance, more long-term stuff. Check-ins are more project or task-based. They’re shorter. But the bottom line is the eLeaP PMP system is very, very flexible and dynamic and can be utilized for both check-ins as well as one-on-ones, an admin. Of course, when I go to my check-ins area, I do have the option to be able to see a lot more information. Obviously a manager can see check-ins from their direct reports from their team members. A senior manager would see a lot more. And of course as an admin you do have access to a lot more data as opposed to say a member. If you go to your check-ins area, it will typically be check-ins that you’ve either created or have been invited to participate in. (01:12): Just like I have an example here for you all. Alright, so let’s see about the check-ins. These are some existing check-ins. And as you can see, super easy to see just how powerful this tool is. You get to create the agenda item, discuss issues, and be able to generally get the job done and keep good track records. The check-ins option also is powerful enough to be utilized if it’s even a performance issue that needs to be addressed. And you can literally use it to document plans, take notes, be able to utilize it to essentially keep private as well as notes that can be shared with the rest of the team. To create a check-in, you just click on the box there, the button there, give it a name, select the category, add a description, invite who you want to this check-in. You’ve got the option of inviting users, team members, or even the entire organization. (02:17): So again, very, very flexible. You can certainly add this to your existing calendars as well as create a recurring check-in. And you do have flexibility to formulate this exactly how you want. Add in your talking points. Again, remember I talked about check-ins and one-on-ones. So you get to basically decide if you want to add in talkings ahead of schedule for the meeting to be more effective. So this is literally how you get the check-ins done. Very, very powerful tools. And again, feel free to explore these. Feel free to make sure that your team members are aware of the availability of this because all of these tools, all of these modules, whether you’re doing reviews, you’re doing PulsePoint, you’re doing weekly status, you’re doing goals, all designed to work in sync, to be able to produce the types of outcomes that clients have come to rely on the success that you want your team members to have. So this is a quick overview of the check-ins feature. As you can see, there’s lots of options for filtering later on. You can certainly filter by date category into the name of an individual to be able to see which check-ins they belong in or participate in. And so there’s lots of options there for you. So if you have any questions about this or any other features in the system, please do not hesitate to contact us.
