In this tutorial, we want to cover how you can add new goals, and it is quite simple. First off, if you have your menu clubs, you can expand it like I just have, and I’m going to go back to clubs view just because I have a wider work area. And here’s what I want to do. First, I want to click on add new goal, and I’m going to call this the engineering Q4 goal. And you would need to set a deadline for this goal. Super important when it comes to goals, because that gives you the impetus to know just how fast your deadlines approaching and for you to be able to get your key results met. The other thing you want to do is to decide who is going to own this goal. So you can assign it obviously to yourself right here. (01:06): You can add additional users, okay? Just click out of it to select, to retain the selection. You can of course assign a goal to a team. So if you toggle the team option, you get to select the teams in the system. Alright, so for example, I can select these two teams. Again, just click outside to lock that in. So right here is personal or people. So you go in there and you select folks. And then the second option, and notice this one at a time, is to be able to assign it to teams. And then of course the third option here is that you can assign the goal to the entire organization. So just be aware what these assigned options mean. For the purposes of this, I’ll just simply assign it to myself. Something else I want to do is I want to click your where it says, see advance options. (02:02): And the reason it’s quite simple, it gives me a chance to decide. For example, if the goal is a private goal, if the goal is active, if you’re ready to activate it, you can post, for example, a description of the goal and then of course you can link the goal to a parent goal that basically creates the cascading effect. Alright, so for example, I can link this to the efficiency goal and just go ahead and click add goal. And that’s about it. Now, the next step, of course, after you add a goal is to go in and add key results, which you can do from right over here and add those particular key results. Now I’m going to give you some examples of key results here that you can add. So for example, this will be a key result. And so you come right over here and I’m just going to paste it in there. Super easy to do. And paste here and click your key result button to add the key results. And again, you just repeat this motion and add in key results. You can of course use a worksheet to come up with these goals and key results before you start inputting them in there into the system. So that’s just a quick and easy way on how you can add goals to the system. As usual, if you have any questions about this or any other features in the system, please do not hesitate to contact us.
