This tutorial will guide you through adding a new survey. Let’s start by going to the list view. It’s important to note that the survey system integrates with preexisting form templates. For details on creating form templates, please refer to our specific tutorial on that topic. To add a new survey, simply click on the ‘Add New Survey’ option in your list view. For demonstration, I’ll name this survey ‘New Survey’ and then select a color scheme by clicking on the dots and choosing a preferred color. Next, move to the categories section and choose a category. I’m selecting ‘Wireless’ for this example. Adding a description is optional but helpful. Then, select the template for your survey. Remember the survey template we discussed earlier? Click on that to choose your template. Next, set your start and end dates. For this example, I’ll start immediately and set the end date for the end of the month, selecting the last hour of the day. You also have the option to make the survey recurring. If you choose this, simply check the box and select your preferred recurrence options. It’s generally a good idea to set an end date for recurring surveys. Let’s move on to assignment options. As an admin, I have three options: organization, teams, and users. Managers typically see only teams and users. For organization-wide surveys, select the organization option. To assign to specific teams or individuals, toggle to the respective option and make your selections. If you need to make changes, you can always uncheck your selections. An important feature is the option to make surveys anonymous. Toggle this on if needed. Remember, this is an admin-level feature and not available to managers. Managers can request this feature through their admin. Finally, click the button to save your survey, and you’re done.
