Goals – Add New Goal – Advanced

Hello and welcome to eLeaP. In this video, we’re focusing on incorporating advanced settings into our new goal, which is currently inactive. Let’s begin by clicking on the three dots here and selecting ‘edit.’ Initially, we see the basic aspects of goal setting: the name, deadline, and assignment to an organization, team, or individuals.

Now, let’s delve into the advanced options by clicking ‘See Advanced Options.’ This opens a second page where we can activate the goal. Additionally, there’s an option to add a short description, which can be very helpful.

Another important feature in the advanced settings is the ability to link goals. For example, as a manager, you might want to create a team-level goal and link it to an organizational goal. You can do this by scrolling through and selecting the desired organizational goal, typically indicated with a purple label.

For this demonstration, however, we will not link the goal and leave it as a top-level, organizational goal. We’ll finalize these settings by clicking ‘edit.’ This action accomplishes two things: it adds a description to our goal, as mentioned earlier, and it activates the goal.
