In our previous videos, we had talked about the modules option and the settings where you are able to set up your individual anniversary reviews as well as your onboarding reviews and how to automate that. Well, here’s how you make sure that the data that you need or the setting in your user profiles is there for the system to be able to work. And for that, what I’m going to do is go over to my teams and people area and I’m going to go ahead and select, let’s go with, let’s go with Gray Lightning. Alright, so right over here, click on edit. And if you notice here, I have a hire date. Okay? So this is what the system is going to use for that anniversary review. Alright? I also have this check box here that says Probationary period. I’m going to check this. (00:56): So let’s assume that gray is a new hire. And so because of that, I have a probationary period that pretty much I want to set up here for three months from the date of hire. So I can also change it by the way, I can change it to six months, I can change it to two months. I can change to one month. You get to decide that. But once I have this locked in, say three months from date of hire, then what would happen is if I have my onboarding reviews section activated, the system will use that information. Remember right over here where I have, when should we start the onboarding reviews? Well, I can say, look, let’s do this two weeks before the end of that three month period, which is what I had put into my user’s profile. So this is how this all ties together, okay? (01:52): You have the ability to automate all of these on anniversary reviews, onboarding reviews, and then of course you have the further ability to customize how the system is set up to work. And then of course, if you notice here there’s a little new tech that indicates these are new hires. So we’ll let you know who are the new hires very, very easily. But the bottom line is you are able to customize all of this. You can obviously customize the user’s profile here, include additional things like which teams they belong in and all of that good stuff. But as you can see here, to take full advantage of their anniversary reviews, make sure that you do have your hire date in place. And then the other thing is if you do want to take advantage of onboarding reviews, make sure that your probationary period is locked in and that you have selected what the period is. We realize that for each user it might be different, right? Maybe somebody comes in and they only have a month as a probationary period and somebody else might need to have three months depending on how your internal policies are set up.
