In this tutorial, we are looking at the PulsePoint system for managers. Now of course, the PulsePoint system is a personal checkup system for all team members, for everybody in the organization. It comes up in the afternoon, but anybody can bring it up. And there are basically two simple questions. How’s your day? How are you feeling? How’s your productivity? And you definitely ask any user can add in a journal entry or note if feedback can even tag anybody that they want. That is obviously within their team with that information. So that’s what the pulse point is. And as a manager, what this does is it gives you a proactive relationship and option to be able to check in on your team members. So if you go to your pulse point area, for example, if somebody has an issue and they alert you, you’ll actually be able to see your feedback right here. (01:05): So as you can see, Anna Styles provided essentially a comment, I’ve been struggling with my Gold Slides quarter. Really could use some guidance. Well that’s from the pulse point right here. So if you go to Pulse point, go to, for example from my dashboard, I can write off the bat just see that she’s having some difficulty. So if I click on Anna’s name here, I noticed right here that she’s provided me what information or comment and I can respond to her. Yes, let’s meet on Tuesday if you are open. Alright. So that’s how simple this is to begin that very essential engagement. And of course what you also have is your own area as a manager to be able to provide that insight. So check out PulsePoint. It is a pretty powerful tool. It is designed to be helpful. It’s not one thing to load it over folks or to just abuse the system, but it is a way for you to be able to, like the word the name says, keep a pulse on what’s going on with team members so that they are feeling engaged, they’re feeling connected and heard and that they can reach out as and when there’s needs for it. (02:28): Obviously it goes both ways. If somebody has something to celebrate, they can definitely post today and tag members so that they know what’s going on, they can share it in their weekly status area. But as the manager, it is really a tool, a useful tool that is going to enhance the engagement levels of your team. So feel free to check out Paul’s point area and if you have any questions about this or any other features in the system, please do not hesitate to contact us.
