Manager: Form Templates Overview

Hello and welcome to eLeaP. In this tutorial, we are focused on the form templates part of the system. The form templates is a part of the system for creating surveys. Of course, as a manager you are able to go into service area and actually get very substantive information. But how do you actually go about creating surveys? Well, it starts first with the form templates. So if you go to form templates area, you can see templates that have been created by others in your organization. You suddenly can make copies of those. So if you go in and hit the preview, it gives you an idea of how the survey looks like or will look like. And you definitely can borrow by hitting the duplicate option here. If you choose to, you can create your own survey form. So in this example here, we are going to create a short little team survey.

All right, so I’ll go ahead and utilize this right here. Excuse me. Going to go ahead and click on that, copy that. So I’m going to go ahead and click right here to add a template for my team survey. So just team survey, select the category name, if you will, and then of course the description. And then we come right over here to the field. So I have a couple of fields set up for you right over here. So of course this is called a single choice type question. Well, you come over here, hit that and enter in the question. So in this case, we want them to select a single choice, see that right there? And then right over here you can add the names of the various departments. So in this case here, you’ve got marketing, sales, human resources, and so on and so forth.

So just giving you some ideas of how to build this out. We do have videos on this, but again, as a manager, we are simply giving you some ideas here for you to utilize as you build out your service. And then we’ve got different questions. So for example, this is on a scale a rating question. So to create a rating question, you simply go right there, the, excuse me, put the text over there for the question and select the written style. Alright? And you’ll be able to edit these texts if you want to, and simply hit save and it creates it for you. So feel free to create as many of these as you want. Here’s another one right here. It’s another rating question. So I’m just going to use the default text for now, but you definitely can edit that text if you like.

So feel free to do that right over here. But I’m just going to select a few of these. But here’s what is powerful and neat about this tool. It lets you create all kinds of questions. If you want to create a long text question, a short text question, you definitely can do that right here. Just enter in the question, select the type of question you want to ask and hit save. And the system does that for you. And so now that you have created your template, so you see that you can go to your surveys and if you wanted to create a survey, you actually can you just go right to the list, hit add new survey, and you’ll need to pull that template. And of course, there it is right here. And you’ll be able to create a template and utilize that team survey. Excuse me, I can’t type right now. And then of course, you want to select the start and end dates for your template or for your survey. Excuse me. And oops, I think I messed up here, right? We’ll just fix that later on. No worries. Go ahead and add that as today. Oh, what am I doing?

I think I did something. Anyways, I’ll go ahead and do that and fix it later on. No worries. Alright. And then you can choose if it’s a recurring survey or you want to actually assign it to your team right here, and you’ll be able to do that. I think I’d need to go set up this thing. So I will go ahead and actually do that. Apparently I messed up here. But anyway, so here’s how you go ahead and enter in your survey. And now we can have our survey out is literally from creating the form template to going into a surveys area and building that out. That’s the power of the eLeaP PMP system.
