In this quick tutorial, we are looking at how to add in a new survey. Simply go to your surveys tab here and click over to your list tab and click right here where it says Add new survey. You will need a name for the survey. You’ll also need a color scheme. It just helps to manage your survey later on. So trust us. Just go ahead and quickly select that. Categories are useful, but of course are not required, but certainly feel free to do that. The same thing with survey descriptions. Right over here, you are able to either select an existing template and you can actually preview the template by simply clicking on the little icon here to see how it looks. If everything looks good and you want to select that, feel free to just check the box and use the button to complete that step. (00:56): If you do need to create a new form that will be more relevant for what you’re doing, just click on the create form and that will take care of it. Then you come over here to the start and end dates. This is important, so I’m going to select today. I’m going to click okay, and then the end date, it’s going to be at the end of this month, and again, I’ll just click, okay, use the default time on there. If you do want the survey to be recurrence, simply check this box. You’ll have an option of selecting how many weeks, days, months, what have you that it should recur, and then of course when it ends. So feel free to check that out. I’m going to go ahead and leave it as a one time. Then we come over here to assignment. This is important and depending on your permissions level, you’ll be able to either assign to teams or to the whole organization. (01:42): Of course, if you are a admin or senior manager, excuse me, so simply select the users that you want to assign. If you want to assign two teams, go over to the teams tab and you’ll be able to find that. If you do have the permissions to have a organization wide survey, feel free to go over to the org settings to do that, I’ll go ahead and take that out. Go back to users, and again, just check the box next to whoever you want to assign this to. Alright, and then click Add members, and that’s about it. We’re one step or two steps to launch in our survey. You have over here the survey answers visibility. This is important. It allows you to decide what you want to do post surveys, where do you want to have the answers shared with the respondents? So everybody will basically see what other people are responding or do you not want to share the answers? (02:37): And if you don’t want to just simply go over to the next option and check that box or select that option. And the last but not least says, do you want to have people provide survey responses anonymously? This is important for some organizations and for some particular surveys, especially if it’s a sensitive topic and you want to give people the chance to be able to provide responses without feeling like they’re going to get in trouble for it. So simply utilize that option. It doesn’t mean that everybody’s going to take you up on that. There are people that will basically respond and have their name show and there that will choose this option if that’s their preference. And last but not least, just hit save survey and that’s it.
