In this quick tutorial, we are going to introduce you to the review system in eLeaP. It is pretty powerful and it’s really a neat way to handle all reviews. A couple of things, actually, three very important things to get your reviews going. You should definitely check out the settings area, go to modules, check out the settings for your reviews module and make sure that you have configured that. We have separate videos for this if you haven’t. The second thing is make sure that you do have form templates. Form templates are how you get to ask the questions for your reviews. So if you don’t have any form templates in your account, toggle over to the library section there and we have created review templates for you that you can actually preview and add to your workspace. Simply click on the three dots and hit air to workspace, and you can then utilize those pre-made review templates. (01:03): You can customize them if you like, right? So that’s second thing. And then third thing of course is we go to the reviews section. Now I’m in here as an admin, so I do have multiple kind of roles that I can play here. First off, you have two main areas, all reviews and received reviews, okay? So these two allow you to kind of toggle between what view or perspective you want, if you want to as an individual, see the reviews that have been given to you. The received reviews is where you go. All the reviews area allows you to pretty much manage all reviews, including of course creating a review. Alright? So let’s say you want to create a review. You just click right here to add new review. Make sure that you have your review name, description, objectives, those kinds of things. For the purposes of this, I’ll just kind of add all of these later on, but you get to make a very important choice. (01:55): Do you want a one-time review or do you want multiple reviews? So you get to basically select that. I’m going to do a one-time review for now. Then you select the review period. Okay, so when does the review start? When does the review end, all of that, okay? And then we lock that in. Then of course you have the option to set up notifications. Do you want notifications to be sent when the review stats? And do you want notifications to be sent when the review is about to end? And a reminder for those that have not completed the review? Then you come over here to the orientation. Very, very important. Do you want an org wide review? Do you want a team-based review? Do you want an individual review? You see how much customization you get here? It really gets pretty neat. So depending on whichever option you select here you have multiple additional selections. (02:43): So an organization wide review is a 360 review. If you are selecting a team review, of course, you come over here, select the team, and then you have a choice of the types of reviews. Do you want to review all members 360? Do you want to review only team leaders? Team members both. So you get to select all those options there. And then of course the assignment option, okay? In this case it’s a team-based review, so we are going to use the team hierarchy. In other words, the teams have leaders and members, so you can check out the video on teams on how to do that. And then we come over to their share answers option. And this is very important, so you can get to share the answers with the reviewee. In other words, they see who has said what about them, so to speak. (03:28): Or you can have it be anonymous or you can just leave that off and only review creators and admins will see this. Imagine that a manager creates a review and once they get feedback, they will be the creator. So they’ll see their responses, and of course, admins like you will also see their responses. And then we’ll come over here to the template area. Again, see the level of customization. If you want a self-assessment to be added to this review, simply toggle this on. And now you’ll be able to select the self-assessment form template that we talked about earlier, a downward review. Now, note that what you see here as the templates are intelligently selected based on the configuration that you have. So for example, if we’re changed it to review a manager, you would not have, for example, the downward review because we are essentially reviewing upward, okay? (04:24): So just know that if you notice that you have different settings here or selections here, it’s because the system is looking at the settings that you’ve previously put in and then it’s customized in all of this. So this is how you go ahead and create your review pretty much very, very easily. So for the purposes of this, I’ll just give you an insight into an existing and existing review. So I’m going to go right over here and I’ll click on overview for Giants. And I’ll go over here and you can see you have a self-assessment area. So this is responses from the individual themselves. And by the way, if you click review details, we’ll give you the details of this review. So very important. Then of course you do have upward reviews. So somebody’s basically reviewing this individual kind of a manager, and then you get downward reviews. So of course, somebody in the hierarchy is reviewing a direct report, and this is how this looks like. So this just gives you a quick overview. We are going to have multiple videos that go deeper into these configurations, but we wanted you to get a feel for the review system and just how powerful and customizable it is in the eLeaP platform. As usual, if you have any questions about this or any other features in the system, please do not hesitate to contact us.
